Our 2022 Sneaker Soiree was a huge success thanks to our wonderful sponsors, partners, donors, volunteers and event attendees. We were able to raise over $130,000 to continue offering our life-changing program to youth across the Puget Sound region, and we can't wait to see you at our event next year! Event Program

Our 20th Birthday Sneaker Soiree kicked off October 6th, 2023 with a cocktail hour followed by a family-style dinner and a look back--and ahead--in an inspiring program where attendees heard from GOTR participants, coaches and volunteers. We closed out the night with our always lively, always entertaining live auction as we invited all to support the ongoing mission of Girls on the Run of Puget Sound by bidding on incredible packages and experiences. We hope to see everyone again at next year's event!

Speakers

Jeanne Higgins

Jeanne Higgins started Girls on the Run of Puget in 2002. As a lifelong runner who reaped the physical, social and emotional elements of running she was excited to bring GOTR to Seattle. Jeanne is currently the Director of Athletics at Forest Ridge, an all girls’ 5-12 school in Bellevue where she continues the work of supporting girls in sports, physical activity and wellness. When she isn’t working, Jeanne enjoys hiking, reading, drawing and spending time with her two cats.
