Meet Trish Hayward, our September Girl Hero! Trish is an overall GOTR champion and is now a Board Member for Girls on the Run Puget Sound! Trish has coached at multiple schools and community centers in King County and shared that she loves "witnessing the girls train for and complete the 5K each year… it's so inspiring to see them set and accomplish their goals together!" Trish first became involved with GOTR when she moved back to the United States during COVID. She began volunteering in her hometown in 2021 and has been coaching ever since! As an avid marathoner, she had found joy and purpose in the running community and wanted to share it with others. When asked to describe GOTR in a few words, Trish said, "Inspiring, healthy, creative, and character-building." Thank you, Trish, for you dedication to GOTR!
