May's Girl Hero

Marguerite Devine-Mraz

Join us in welcoming our new Volunteer & Communications Coordinator, Marguerite, to the GOTR community!

I am so excited to join Girls on the Run Puget Sound as the Volunteer & Communications Coordinator! In my first two weeks, I have felt so lucky to be able to join a Girls on the Run practice and a Heart & Sole practice and get to know the girls and the community. I have loved seeing the girls connecting and building up their confidence throughout these sessions and cannot wait to continue to witness and support the impact of the program.

I come into this role with non-profit experience in education and having done a year of AmeriCorps. I am inspired to join and support Girls on the Run and I am so grateful for Andrea, Happie, Maya, and Onika and all their guidance and support. I am thrilled to be joining them in continuing to expand the program and increase access for girls across the Puget Sound.

A little more about me - I was born and raised in Seattle, I grew up swimming and swam in college, and in my free time I love to read, bake, go on long walks, or enjoy a hike. I am so excited to join Girls on the Run Puget Sound and cannot wait to connect with the GOTR community!
