August's Girl Hero: Brooke Davis

Brooke Davis

We are thrilled to honor the presenting sponsor of our Sneaker Soiree, Brooke Davis, as our August Girl Hero! Brooke has been involved with Girls on the Run for nearly 11 years, serving many different roles from coach to board member to local GOTRPS sponsor with her real estate company, Brooke Davis Real Estate.

Brooke first got involved with Girls on the Run back in 2011 after searching for a way to connect with the community through physical activities that would support and build youth confidence. That is when a friend was able to connect Brooke with her local Girls on the Run council. After a coffee meeting with a GOTR coach coordinator, she left feeling inspired and knew she needed to be a part of the GOTR family. Brooke signed up to be the head coach at a local elementary school and has been involved with Girls on the Run ever since, volunteering in many different positions at various school across the Seattle area.

When asked about her favorite memory at Girls on the Run, Brooke reflects on her very first season at GOTR saying, “The finish line at my very first 5K run! Girls of different abilities, whether they run or walk, seeing the joy and confidence in their smiles as they crossed the finish line and celebrating their achievement with family and friends was truly heartwarming.”

No one quite embraces the GOTR spirit like Brooke. Whether she's coaching, hosting a booth at the 5K, or shouting out our organization on Instagram, she is determined to bring the GOTR values of empowerment, connection, and inclusion to youth in our community. All of us at Girls on the Run feel fortunate to work with Brooke directly as a Board Member as well as with her whole team at Brooke Davis Real Estate. We thank you for your continued support and cannot wait to see you shine at our Sneaker Soiree!
