Meet our September Girl Hero, Madison Clark! Mattie is a long-time Girls on the Run Puget Sound volunteer who is beginning her 8th season as a GOTR coach this fall! Mattie shared that after four years of coaching, having the privilege of leading participants from their first day to their last is one of her favorite things about Girls on the Run. "There’s nothing better than watching the confidence that’s built little by little through each practice, season, and year, and nothing more bittersweet than sending each girl off as a GOTR alum," she said. Mattie would describe Girls on the Run as empowering, collaborative, and energy-filled, and would encourage all GOTR alum to return to the program as a Junior Coach when they're older!
