February’s Girl Hero: Allison Todd

Allison Todd

This month we are thrilled to feature Allison Todd as our Girl Hero! We are excited to welcome Allison as our new Puget Sound Board President this year.

Allison is no stranger to Girls on the Run Puget Sound. She has enjoyed getting the chance to be involved with Girls on the Run as a Running Buddy, volunteer, business partner, board member, AND MOM! For the past 15 years, Allison has been a part of our organization and has served many crucial roles in our programming. One of the most memorable moments in her time at Girls on the Run has been having her daughter help volunteer in before being eligible for Girls on the Run and then watching her experience the magic of GOTR herself during the Fall 2021 Season.

Looking towards the new year, Allison reflects saying, "It makes me smile and excited about the future, as we work towards inspiring healthy, happy, and strong girls in our communities. Knowing that I get to continue working on this mission with the incredibly talented GOTR staff and our strong board with fun and diverse backgrounds and perspectives makes me excited about what we can bring to the community in 2023."

The Girls on the Run Staff is eternally grateful for Allison's continued support of our work. We cannot wait to reach new horizons with Allison's guidance and vision as our new incoming Board President.

Help us give Allison an ENERGY award for all the work she has done over the past 15 years and beyond!
