Meet our December Girl Hero, Sara Jentoft! Sara just completed her first season as a Girls on the Run Coach this fall with the Maple Leaf Community Team, and we are so excited to have her coaching again in the spring. She first learned about Girls on the Run from her mother, who was a coach ten years ago! When asked about her experience with GOTR, Sara shared, "It only seemed fitting that I followed in her footsteps after I started running to cope with working as a nurse during the pandemic. Being a coach has allowed me to connect to our community, encourage girls to create healthy outlets for stress, and teach life skills they will use their entire lives."
